Robin's Famous Hummous Recipe

As an honorary Arab, I have developed a no-fail recipe for hummous that you can try. My friends know that my husband is a Christian Arab, and we have lots of good Middle Eastern Recipes. (Did I mention that he is not Muslim?)

Robin’s Famous Hummous Recipe

Put the following in your food processor:

2 cans chick peas

juice from one of the cans of chick peas (discard the juice from the other can)

1/2 cup Tahini (sesame oil)

2 Tablespoons salt

3 cloves garlic chopped finely

juice of one fresh lemon or 1/4 cup reconstituted lemon juice (to taste)

Try this! All of our friends and family love it! It only takes 10 minutes to make. Yalla! (Let’s go in Arabic)
